I want my son to meet people from as many ethnic backgrounds as possible and experience real introductions to diverse cultures, not just cookie-cutter stereotypical tourist traps. Every year we do an epic holiday for 3-5 weeks. Once we did 5 countries in Africa over 5 weeks, another time we trekked for 3 weeks through the Himalayan mountains on foot, and by last year when my son was only 8 months old, he had already been on 10 flights, many cars, trains and ferries. I'm a Canadian stay-at-home-mom with a 2 year old son and partner. We love to travel the world, make new lasting friendships, explore the outdoors and consider ourselves "foodies". My friends call me "the glue" that connects people. I love helping others and cherish my friendships. My partner is an avid cyclist and adventurer. My son is a sweet and easy going friendly toddler. We want to hang out with locals and get a feeling of what it is like to live and be part of that community. We look forward to meeting you!
