About Me
JENNIFER !
WHO IS SHE AND WHAT DOES SHE BELIEVE IN ?
I’m a 29 years old french girl I grow up in the north of France but I am living in Paris now.
I have 2 passions in life, the first one is travelling, and the other sport.
As I have a great passion for travelling I studied in the tourism industry. After my degree I decided to take a break and go to Australia for one year to live a new experience.
I started by staying with an Australia family for 2 months in order to learn about the culture, the langage and to share with each other. It was an amazing experience. Following this, my first big travel experiences began.
At school in Australia I met a Japanese friend who invited me one year later in Japan. I had a second real local experience as I stayed 3 weeks at her house and these experience gave me the real taste of sharing with local people and learning from each other. It was really different from Australia as the langage was to difficult but at this time I learnt that the langage from the heart and the smile is also powerful.
I also travelled to Thailand, the United States, Mexico, Tanzania, Zanzibar, Guadeloupe, Italia, the Maldives and the Bahamas. Each time I tried to be near local people. I’m curious about culture of the countries I visit, I like learning about people, traditions and customs.
My last travel experience started 2 years ago in South America and ended up in French Polynesia crossing the pacific ocean from panama to tahiti by boat hitchhinking. Its a big story I would love to share with you if you want to :)
As I mentioned before, my other passion is sport. I love outdoor sports (hiking, jogging, water sports and extremes sports), always open to try new activities. I also scuba dive and I have a boat license.
MY SINCERELY HELD BELIEVE IS THAT
« What prevents people from living together is their bullshit, not their difference. » Anna Gavalda, together, that’s it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My first experience with couchsurfing was by chance in the beginning of April as I arrived in Argentina thanks to a friend in BA. I really enjoyed this experience and that push me to create a profile. It’s a easy way to meet local people and share from each other. I feel like I have a lot in commun with people who couchsurf, for that reason I think I would have a deeper experience.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I swam with sea lions in Uruguay, with pigs in the Bahamas and with turtles in the Maldives.
I flew over the Grand Canyon in a helicopter an the view was just breathtaking
Another unforgettable experience I had was when I scuba dive in Isla Mujeles.
I visited an underwater museum where I saw many statues and a car with various colorful fishes swimming around.
Another experience I will never forget as long as I live is the time I spent with Massaï people in Tanzania. There I learnt how to make a fire and was lucky to be invited to one of the villager houses where I had a first hand experience of their traditions customs and every day life.
Finally I would like to share a recent exhilarating experience I had when I sky dive over the Igazu falls in Brazil at sunset. Worlds can’t not describe adequately my intense feelings I had on that occasion.

I can bring you « ma joie de vivre ». I will share with you my different travel experiences, my knowledge in different fields, and simply learn from each other culture.
I can also put at your disposal my sense of listening and practice different languages with you. I speak English, French and German fluently. I understand well Spanish and I’m learning every day a little more to express myself.
