Music, Movies, and Books
Books that have changed my life in the past few years: The Places That Scare You, Pema Chodron; The Art of Possibility, Ben and Rosamund Zander; The Medici Effect, Frans Johansson; Animal, Vegetable, Miracle, Barbara Kingsolver; Community: The Structure of Belonging, Peter Block.
My favorite poet is Mary Oliver.
At the moment, I'm reading The Sweet Life in Paris by David Lebovitz and A Visit from the Goon Squad by Jennifer Egan.
Movies: I gravitate toward documentaries. I also love beautifully told stories. There are some cult comedies I've watched more than 10 times: Airplane! and Office Space come to mind.
Music: Fairly omnivorous here. I have something like 30 Pandora stations, from Explosions in the Sky to Early Blues to Brazilian.
