Hello there! My name is Jennifer and I love to travel. I love sightseeing, learning about a new culture, arts, and food. I am very open-minded and love trying new food. I also like meeting new people and learning more about the country they are from, places traveled, and esp. it would great to meet locals to see the place from their perspectives rather than the touristist side. As you can see from my photos, I have been to a couple to places and still have a whole list of places I want to visit in particular Europe!

I am originally from Brooklyn, NY. Recently, I moved to Germany because of my boyfriend and have been unemployed as I am looking for work. I travel back to NYC from time to time to see family and friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

1. Save money. I am unemployed so I am on a tight budget.
2. Meet some great locals to learn some insights and more about Paris! Make new friends. I was traveling for 5 months around a bit of Europe, Turkey, Japan, and mostly Southeast Asia. The best part was meeting new people in hostels and making new friends.
3. Share some of my insights! If you need some travel guidance, I would be more than happy to share!

Music: Open to many different genres but mostly like electronic dance, techno, and pop
Movies: Gladiator, Inception, Jurassic Park, The Matrix, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Avengers, The Dark Knight, Wonder Woman, Lion, The Life of Pi, Gone Girl, Fight Club, Black Swan
Books: Working on it, but much a book reader, I prefer to read manga.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled solo for 5 months and completing a 10 silent mediation retreat sleeping on a concrete bed and wooden pillow with only 2 meals a day. It was tough but an amazing insightful experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach how to travel on a budget and share travel tips about any of the places I visited. I can also share lots of tips about NYC since I was born and raised there. I am also a Career Advisor with over 7 years of experience so if you need any help in your job search and want someone to look over your resume, I can definitely help with that!! Also, I love cats and own a cat so if you want some tips on that, I can share some.
