Overview
About Me
My husband and I love trekking and adventuring. We go backpacking/camping on weekends all year round experiencing all kinds of weather and running into all sorts of wildlife. We both have grown up on Vancouver Island and love the outdoors and the beauty of nature.
I currently care for an elderly friend of the family and my husband is a welder at a local boat manufacturer.
When the weather is too poor and we are not outdoors hiking or exploring where we live some other method, I enjoy a hobby of making cheese! Because who doesn't want their own hand crafted parmesan?
I love cooking and baking and discovering new culinary adventures!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My husband and I are planning a trip to Europe this summer from May 2-September 10 .
We want to meet lots of people and make lots of memories!
When we travel we really like to feel that we have culturally immersed ourselves in the place we are exploring. To feel, learn and truly understand the place, I believe you must immerse yourself with the local people.
