I read everything - books, blogs, historical plaques, cereal boxes. I knit a lot, primarily lace and shawls and lace shawls, usually while watching more TV than I care to admit. I like cats, craft beer, sunny porches, parks, podcasts, pretty swirly flurries of snow, piles of blankets, absurd numbers of pillows, and coasting downhill on a quiet street with the wind in my face. I'm passionate about feminism, food systems, sustainability and self-care. I'm a jack of all trades, master of few - I know a little bit about a lot of things and would probably find a lot of the rest interesting. I am, at heart, a complete goofball, but it might take getting to know you over a few beers for that to come out.

I can teach knitting and baking! I am really good at knitting lace, and I particularly like to make pies, tarts, and cookies.

I would love to learn new recipes, different crafts, and anything you're willing to teach.

And you know what else? I'd really like to go fishing. I haven't been fishing in a few years and it's been even longer since I actually caught something. If you can help me achieve my dream of catching, cleaning, cooking, and consuming my own fish, you'll go in my hall of fame.
