ABOUT ME

I currently live in Tucson, AZ. I love the natural beauty of the desert and the healing that takes place when I choose to express myself outdoors. I enjoy biking, traveling, hiking, yoga and meditation. I love to embark on 'Stay Cations' and 'Away Cations' as much as my budget allows me. I am an extrovert by nature, but can spend hours by myself creating projects, daydreaming or reading. I love to laugh about the ironies of life and am sarcastic by origin. I am down to earth, but love to talk about the clouds.I love red wine, hummus, and living life at a different tempo.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to couchsurfing.org, but not new to couch surfing. I have been traveling since I was 13, so I have spent many nights on couches in different parts of the world. I am excited to offer up my couch as soon as I return home from traveling.

Interests

Yoga, Dancing, Eating, Laughing until my belly hurts, reading books in different languages, people-watching, photography, cold Mexican beer, vegetables, coffee houses, taco stands, eating ice cream out of the carton, staying up late, sleeping in, writing, loving, daydreaming.

Music, Movies, and Books

How do I even begin? I walk into a bookstore and I am overwhelmed by excitement, music fills every part of my body with feeling, and love scenes in cheesy movies make me cry. I like all literature, film, and art.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Riding on the metro in Mexico City without knowing much Spanish was a pretty terrifying and amazing experience. But probably one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had was riding a four-wheeler through the jungles of Dominican Republic with my three best friends, throwing cookies to the children of the impoverished villages and watching joyous smiles sweep across their faces..
