ABOUT ME
My name is Jenna, I'm 28, I grew up in the south east of England and Melbourne, Australia, but now live in London. I love to travel and have been to South America twice, living in Buenos Aires last year, and travelled to Asia and Europe and am next planning to go to Africa.
I went to Argentina last year to learn Spanish and live another country, but also to escape the joblessness in London, but now I'm back I've found a job I love helping the sellers of Big Issue, London's street newspaper, so I'm settled here for a bit. But with a job, I can now afford to take trips away so bring on weekends in Europe...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Unfortunately I'm in a shared house at the moment and can't host but I would love to meet travellers for a coffee and let them know about London outside of the guide book. I can't wait to couchsurf around the world, and equally, hear about the places I visit from the people who really know.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been hosted in Lille and Porto so far, which have been great! I've got lots more trips planned, I've got the couch surfing bug.
Interests
My main love is music; listening to it, gigs and festivals (and learning the accordion at the moment!!). It is the way I wake up in the morning, cope with the London commute, and what I watch in the night. London is incredible with the amount of arts it has to offer, and makes it worth fighting through the millions of people to find it.
This is a big part of my traveling experience - I love to explore the culture of everywhere I visit.
Also, I have a huge passion for table football.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Finding a tiny bar in Buenos Aires that encapsulated every drop of spirit in the city. After living there for months, and falling in love with tango but being contuinuously exposed to tourist shows and electro-tango on the markets, this place had a duo take to the 'stage' at midnight, singing tango from the heart to a packed room, the owner coming to sing a couple and telling stories, and the drinkers were enraptured, often singing along and swaying in agreement. Music at its purest.
