ABOUT ME

I am currently living abroad in South Korea, seeing what Asia is all about! I am a kindergarten and elementary school teacher.... I work long hours but love my students to death. So adorable! I love exploring and trying new things. I am originally from Canada but I don't plan on going back any time soon really. I'm enjoying my adventure and hope to see the rest of SE Asia in the near future followed by a trip to Europe in the summer?!?!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

This past summer I participated in 3 half marathons, something which I had never done before. Felt a sense of accomplishment there..! haha I've also go on some group adventure trips around South Korea. I've been to numerous festivals (mud festival and fireworks festival), races and even tried my tallents at wine making ?!?!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed at an acquaintances house in KL after getting to know this person at the resort I did my open water scuba course with. I had to take a midnight train from the airport and instead I was offered a place to stay for the night. This wasn't officially a couch surfing stay, but i imagine this is exactly what it must be like! I hope to help people out and return the favor!

Interests

Sports - I'm very very sporty. I have a competitive background in Tennis, softball, and ice hockey. I enjoy reading... like to relax and take it easy with a nice cup of coffee! And of course traveling is up there too, definitely always up for an adventure! Lately I've been interested in yoga... hope to do a lot when I'm in Thailand.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Recently got my scuba diving licence in Borneo, Malaysia. It was unreal! I can't wait to go again and again.
My decision to move from South Korea to Rome. I haven't moved there yet, plan to after traveling SE Asia for 2 months. I guess you never know what the future holds. Life can be so exciting! :)
