ABOUT ME

I just started working as a nurse in august, and find it both challenging and rewarding...since I'm still new mostly challenging. I am very independent but have never underestimated the impact of a stranger. (mostly because I have lost my purse 1000 times and always get it back!) I like to laugh a lot - mostly at myself. I love art, lots of color, music and dancing like a fool. I am a night person, and need a bit in the morning before I can talk to anyone. I like to go out and have fun, but i like to stay in when I'm feeling lazy. I am competitive in anything that doesn't matter (calling shotgun, card games with $1 bets etc.) I also can ramble...but I listen too!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Let me know dates you need a place to stay, and I will see what I can do! I work night shift 3 days a week so unfortunately I wouldn't be able to host on those nights. I just moved into a new apartment, so theres not a lot of furniture but I do have a couch and an air matress, and heat and water : )

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My friend Lindsay and I couch surfed in Birmingham, Edinburgh and Dublin. Then when I was Aus. in Adelaide and Tasmania! The experience was exceptionally positive. I have finally moved into my own place so hopefully I can return the favor soon.

兴趣

I love working with people, obviously some more than others. I enjoy the crazy people, they are the most intriguing. Once I have my degree I plan on traveling anywhere Nurses are needed (everywhere : ) I also love art, music and good food! Anything outdoors is ALWAYS an interest too (mountains, trees, hiking, lakes, even grass sometimes) A good beer now and then (give or take a few) catches my interest as well.

Books: "The giving Tree" (children's classic) Also, "A tree grows in Brooklyn"
Music: Tom Petty, The beatles, Yonder Mountain String band, Umphrey's Mcgee, Pink Floyd. Basically anything but screaming music or bad rap. (which in my opinion is most of the rap out there) I like a lot of happy/chill music

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I spent a semester in Australia and saw soo many amazing things. I drove up the north east coast to the rainforest in Cape Tribulation, went to the outback and Uluru, and drove along the great ocean road. Everything in New Zealand is amazing, and by far my favorite place in the world. Fiji was nice too- lots of blue water and friendly people.

When my friend Lindsay and I CS we taught everyone the real way to high five. this is an essential skill that in my opinion everyone needs to know. High fives will soon be the new hand shake.
