ABOUT ME

I always try my best to see the good in people. You'll hardly ever hear me complain about anything. I'm light-hearted, honest, up-beat, and energetic (As long as I get enough coffee...). I'm extremely impulsive, I thrive under pressure, and I am always seeking out the next adventure. I love trying new things, learning first-hand about other cultures, I will eat almost anything - except bugs. I will try almost any activity, except maybe sky-diving. (Too frightening!) I enjoy watching foreign films and reading subtitles, I read quite a few comic books, and am usually drawing, painting, or writing in my spare time.

One of my favorite activities is silently observing people. People have so much to say if you just take the time to stop and listen.

Hosted a sweetheart from Denmark when .i
Iced in Saint Louis back in 2012. Great experience, taking her out around town to my favorites places, and listening and learning from her life experiences.

Interests

Being outside - around nature, watching trees, feeling the breeze, listening to creeks crossing over beds of rocks, clouds roll over each other lazily in the sky...
Being inside - reading books on philosophy, art, comic books, playing video games (SNES or n64), drawing in my sketchbook, writing a little poetry or my daily thoughts, playing with my cats.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went cliff-jumping into a lake, around a 30ft cliff actually, building up the courage to jump off the ledge - falling through the air and feeling the tinge of fear from impact but enjoying the freedom of the fall. Smacking into the water, I let my legs curl up slightly underneath me, which resulted in a huge bruise/welt on my left thigh for a few weeks - and major stinging for a few hours, but it was totally worth the rush of adrenaline.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach; The basics of design, how to draw/paint, how to use different art supplies/materials, how to read/write/speak in English, how to cook using an eclectic sense of taste, random facts about animals/nature, sometimes wisdom beyond my years about human nature or the world in general that astounds even me at times.

What I would love to learn; How to speak/write/read different languages, how to cook different ethnic meals, how to make a fire using flint, how to dance, how to play an instrument, basically learn how to do anything that I haven't done already!!
