ABOUT ME

I am a fashion design and fine arts student studying in Florence, Italy for the semester. I've been an artist my entire life and I've been working as a free lance artist for many years.

PHILOSOPHY

This Thoreau quotation from Walden is my personal philosophy to my very core,“I wish to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I come to die, discover that I had not lived. I do not wish to live what is not life, living is so dear; nor do I wish to practice resignation, unless it was quite necessary. I want to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life, to live so sturdily and Spartan-like as to put to rout all that was not life, to cut a broad swath and shave close, to drive life into a corner, and reduce it to its lowest terms.”

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am brand new to couch surfing but eager to meet new people and adventure places I couldn't even imagine! Couch surfing seems like the most amazing way to travel the world and see it from a new point of view. I'm not looking to see cities like every other tourist can but rather with amazing locals!

Interessen

I enjoy hiking and exploring. My life is chaotic so I like to kick back with friends and have a beer. I love all sports and I hanging out with sports fanatics! I love learning and discussing politics (but prefer not to argue too much!). I've been an artist my whole life and I have been around live music my entire life so I love doing anything that involves those things. I love hearing about people's lives and experiences and creating new experiences with them. I enjoy learning anything and everything and spreading whatever knowledge I've picked up in my lifetime. I enjoy making new friends! Nothing makes me happier than to cook for friends and enjoy their company
