ABOUT ME

I am a graduate student in Berkeley, CA. I am pretty laid back and love getting to know new people. I travel sometimes for school-related reasons and often need a place to crash for a night or two. I am a good guest: considerate, quiet, clean and would love to meet you!

Interests

I like going to museums and educational experiences. Though I love a good night out every once in a while, I am more interested in low key experiences. I like parks, dogs, nature, and art. When I do go out though, ideally I like to have a beer and shoot pool with friends. I also like people-watching, wandering around, and observing. I like traveling to meet new people and to experience the subtleties of the cultures in different areas of the country.

In school, I am studying Hebrew Bible and am interested in creating a space for a more thoughtful use of the Bible than what we see in mainstream culture. I love religious things (I'm Jewish but interested in religion broadly), cultural things, artistic things - any expression of identity.

I am also a musician and play guitar and drums.

I like a lot of things - too many for so few hours in a day.
