*Currently not able to host, because I don't have my own apartment*

Started actively using CS since January 2017, and got to host my first travelers in February. Now I have also been able to couchsurf myself when traveling in May. So I'm still semi-new to CS, but want to get more experiences and get to know more people though here.

Though I'm a bit shy and quiet, if we start talking about traveling I become a whole different person. Love traveling and exploring, and learning about new places and cultures. One of my missions in life is to visit as many countries as I can, and I just recently visited my 27th country.

When I'm not travelling I'm studying a bachelor degree in International Business. Born and raised in Finland, with 50% Russian blood running through my veins, and currently doing an exchange year in France.

*I am only learning French, so I would greatly appreciate if requests were sent in one of the languages I am fluent in.*

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a great way to meet people from all around the world, to share stories and experiences.
Especially as I like travelling alone, it is great to meet new people along the way and to connect with the place in a different way than from a hotel room.
(Also I won't lie: I'm a student on a tight budget, but a large travel itinerary)

Centres d'intérêt

There are so many things in this world that interest and amaze me, and there is no day that goes by that I don't find something around me which makes me marvel how wonderful our world is (regrettably there are also the negative things, but gladly the positive outweigh the negative).

I love the simple things: listening to music, dancing, cooking and having a good meal with a nice glass of wine, walking the narrow streets of a town, admiring the architecture, listening to the waves crash at the beach, photograph the colourful sceneries, enjoy life..

Music is life! (cliché, I know..)
Best music is the one you can dance to, or the music that touches you, and for a moment transforms how you see the world around you and pulls you into a certain mood or feeling.
-> but basically I like most genres of music

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

On my every trip I get to see/do/experience something new, exciting and amazing. I've climbed a Mayan pyramid, seen baby sea turtles hatch from their eggs, pilot a Cessna plane (for like 3 awesome minutes), ride a reindeer sleigh, snorkle on the edge of a reef, and so much more.
So I can't name just ONE amazing thing, or maybe that ONE thing is yet to be experienced..

I love to talk about traveling and am happy to share the stories that I have gathered during my voyages. If someone wants to learn I am happy to share my language skills, and will be more than happy to learn from my hosts. I will treat my hosts with small gifts (cookies or candies) as appreciation for their couch.
