PHILOSOPHY

I live my life to love my life.

Praise the lives you did not choose. They will heal you, tell your story, fight for you. :: Marge Piercey ::

To handle yourself, use your head; to handle others, use your heart
If someone betrays you once, it is his fault; if he betrays you twice, it is your fault. -Eleanor Roosevelt

I find that making very loose plans, the kind that allow for digressions, or just wandering with no plans at all, hoping to come across people, events, or just snippets of daily life, is my kind of travel. -Rita Golden Gelman

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Becoming an aunt is one of my biggest achievements in life. As for seeing, the views from a hot air balloon in Melbourne, Australia, is something that will probably never be topped.

Teach, Learn, Share

I lived a life as a girlfriend of four different people for over four years. In May of 2009 this year I completely shed that identity and took the long, hard road to becoming a person willing and able to live alone. Then, I eventually learned how to live happily alone. And by alone, I mean independent and self-sufficient. Now I want to learn how to live among strangers who become friends, and how to do so happily.
I can teach people the gift of conversation, challenge, and trust. I love all of those things and have spent my life trying to master them although I know it will be an eternal path of learning.
