My name is Jane, I´m 22 years old and I am a university student of International Relations and European Studies at Masaryk University.

I would say that I am a friendly person who loves to explore new things. My life goal is to make the world at least a little bit better and a little bit more peaceful than it is now.

Music, Movies, and Books

The list would be too long, so I will mention just some of it...

Regarding music, I rather prefer rock and metal music. My favourite bands are for example Iron Maiden (I´ve been twice to their concert), Metallica, Linkin Park, Imagine Dragons and OneRepublic.

Movies - well, in general, I like to watch movies with Tom Hanks and Leonardo DiCaprio as the main character (so you can imagine that I like Catch Me If You Can). I´ve been a pure Potterhead since my childhood and I also like movies directed by Quentin Tarantino. I´m quite interested in movies based on a true story or some historical event (like Argo, Life is Beautiful, Imitation Game) and movies which make me think (Inception, Interstellar, Matrix).

I also want to mention some of my favourite tv shows - The Man in the High Castle, The Handmaid´s Tale, Game of Thrones, White Queen, White Princess, Spanish Princess, The Tudors, The Da Vinci´s Code, How I Met Your Mother (except for the ending), The Big Bang Theory, Young Sheldon,...

I used to read more than I do now because I had less studying obligations and I miss it a lot. In general, as in the case of movies, I enjoy reading books which are based on a true story. Historical and some political books are also my thing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I would say that the one amazing thing I´ve done is finally getting out of my comfort zone.

In 2018, I went to a Balkan trip with a few people I didn´t meet before, so it was quite intimidating at first, I didn´t know what to expect and I also didn´t go somewhere so far before.

I´m glad I went because it was an amazing experience, we´ve visited most of the Balkan countries and the whole region just bewitched me by its beautiful nature, friendly people and cheap and delicious cuisine.
