ABOUT ME

I think I am probably similar to many other couchsurfers. I love to travel and when I am not traveling, I am dreaming about traveling. I love music, dance, culture, languages, food and politics from all around the world.

My favorite thing in the world is laughing and I do it all the time.

I speak English and Spanish fluently, I understand and speak a little Portuguese and French.

PHILOSOPHY

Adventure, knowledge and wisdom are so deeply intertwined that they cannot be separated from one another.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

I love to meet people when I travel. I do not want to be an Instagram traveler who goes places to take selfies, nor do I want to be a free loading traveler who takes advantage of local hospitality. I want to Couchsurf to experience places in a deeper way and I like to host to share knowledge and stories with people from around the world.

What got me through my first backpacking experience was discovering the following: Its going to be ok. Once while lost, alone, penniless and in a dangerous part of Rome in the middle of the night I came to the conclusion that soon the sun would rise and I would be okay.
The most important part of traveling is assuring that first- you don't get into situations like that, and second- that if everything starts going wrong to stay calm, the morning will come.
