Overview
About Me
I am a twenty-year old creative, energetic, political, sceptical, spiritual person in search of something that I can dedicate my struggle towards.
I eat vegan, kin jay, an chay.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Me and my partner finished our Abitur (which is comparable to the english A-Level and makes us appliable to university) last year, and now we are travelling south-east asia together.
We dont want to just travel from a touristy bubble to the next one,
but have a real connection to the place we are staying at,
by getting to now people.
We want to learn about different lifestyles and not so much about the sightseeing.
Interests
I have been drawing since kindergarden, but still am reluctant to make that an occupation, since I think it would take away my passion.
I deeply care for nature and as a result, was involved with greenpeace youth and later the green party youth in germany and I still follow politics
and political philosophy. As my favourite author Erich Fromm combines
it with psychology, that is also a field I am interested in.
In school I was involved in theatre-performance and literature group,
just as the pupils newsletter for I enjoy writing.
- arts
- street art
- dancing
- meditation
- politics
- ecology
- mythology
Music, Movies, and Books
While I like psychedelic trance music a lot,
I am quite open for most styles of music.
My favourite movie is Big Fish and I really enjoy Lars von Trier movies.
My favourite book is "Jenseits der Illusionen" (Beyond the Illusions)
by Erich Fromm.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Eating more than 4 plates of nepali "Dal Bhat"
Teach, Learn, Share
With my prior involvement I have some experience with Illustrating, designing and Layout.
I am also quite keen on crafting, as making jewelry and sewing.
When I was volunteering in India, it was with a Woman Empowerment Organisation, where I would teach English.
In my time there, I attended a yoga course in Krishnamacharya yoga.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My drawings,
my yoga and meditation practice,
my thoughts on the world,
and how (or even "if") to safe it.
