ABOUT ME

I am a quiet but always friendly person. I enjoy to have a good talk while having a walk. I really enjoy it to be outside, have a beer and share stories.
I am vegetarian and really like to try new recipes and to discover all the different places where you get veggie food... also when I am travelling (and it can be kind of a challenge sometimes ;))

PHILOSOPHY

As I learned it from a lot of people during my journeys I want to enjoy life the best I can! I don't want to hide myself and I don't want to do anything just because society tells me it is right! I want to learn to be myself!

...I still have to work on this philosophy, but I am on a good way :D ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Most experience I made with couchsurfing where by staying with hosts in different parts of South America, England and the Netherlands!
But I also had some great guests while I lived in Cologne, not to forget all the great people I've met over the years.
I am positive to say that I found some really good friends thanks to couchsurfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a lot of great couchsurfing experiences. I had some great host, met great people and I have also been able to host a view surfers.
One of my favorite stories is still my unforgetable Christmas in Cordoba, Argentina. Normally I don't like Christmas a lot, but thanks to my host family in Cordoba I had a special Christmas in 2012! We celebrated an internaional Chirstmas with people from France, Ecuador, Argentina and Germany in the garden with a lovely bbq. Defintely a new and lovely way to celebrate Christmas as we normally can't leave the house because of the cold outside during christmas time...

Interests

First at all I love to travel and to get to know and learn from other countries, cultures and people! I am really intrested in different kind of arts and also I love sports, especially HANDBALL, soccer and american football!
I love to go swimming, spending time at a local animal shelter go to the movies, volunteer with amnesty international... I really love to be in nature- not important if the weather is bad or good!

I also really like to go to concerts, especially when there are newcomer bands around. Not to forget to have some cold beers and a good time with friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

Wow, there are a lot of films, music and books a like!

I like movies like The Godfather, American History X or Blood Diamond, Donnie Dark, Prisoners and No se aceptan decolucciones, Nocturnal Animals and Brothers, but I also like to watch comedy, ...

I like the music form Paolo Nutini, Oasis, Lings of Leon, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Soja, Seeed, Jarabe de Palo and "Die Aerzte" a lot, but in total I also listen to music from the charts, reggaeton, reggae, Salsa and, and, and :D I love to listen to live music, so I am always looking around to go to small concerts... Also like South American music...

I like to read books like The Godfather and other novels from Mario Puzo, other great authors are Walter Moers and Jonathan Safran Foers... I would say ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchhiking through the south of Chile and Argentina. It was quite an adventure and mostly ended by meeting great personalities and having good talks for hours...
