Overview
About Me
I am an eccentric lady from the midwest who moved to the Pacific Northwest to pursue my passions. Now I'm traveling Europe for 6 months with my partner!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm hoping that I'll be able to meet some cool people and make new friends! I also want to experience the real everyday lives of people, not just be another bumbling tourist.
Interests
I enjoy a wide range of things, both with people and in solitude. I love one on one conversation and that's where I really blossom. I also enjoy being in nature, sipping on a delicious espresso, and writing my thoughts down in my journal.
I really like going out on hikes, although I don't get the chance to do it as often as I'd like! I also am into trying new things, I just recently gave surfing a shot, and that was amazing!
I also thoroughly enjoy being my own brand of weirdo, and I'm not ashamed of it! I like singing in the shower, dancing around (or flailing, really), and just generally eliciting other people's quarks. I like to think that I'm an easy person to be around, and people tend to be very comfortable around me. I enjoy talking to people about real things--their fears, hopes, and dreams.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have an eclectic music taste. Anywhere from balkan hip hop to the Spice Girls. Only thing is I can't do country. I dabble in punk (love Siouxsie and the Banshees) and some other rock/alternative stuff.
I love me some sci-fi and fantasy films. Labyrinth with David Bowie is my favorite film of all time, and David Bowie is an absolute babe.
For books I again go for the sci-fi and fantasy realm, but I also dig some feminist non-fiction and surreal historical novels.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Kinda hard to pick, done a few wild things in my life. Probably going to a tattoo convention in Las Vegas with my friend Christina with a gentleman she had just met. He paid for everything, and we got free tattoos and got to see some of the most amazing tattoo artists in the world! (I know it sounds very shady, but his wife was with us too! It overall ended up being an amazing experience!)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am a pretty darn good cook, and I am extremely tidy and a fast learner so I can help you out a bit around the house in exchange for your couch!
I also like to jam out with my partner (he plays guitar).
And of course, I am a stimulating and open conversationalist!
Countries I’ve Visited
