ABOUT ME
I'm a CA native and have spent many a vacation growing up in and around Lake Tahoe and am so amazed that I have gotten to call it home for the past 3 years. Coming home from alomost a year abroad, I followed my heart from the Bay to Tahoe. I love being out in nature and dancing with the coyotes. Skier, hiker, discoverer of fun!
PHILOSOPHY
Treat others as I would like to be treated - kindness, respect, honesty.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My partner has been a couchsurfer for awhile and now I am getting to know the community. I've traveled a bit through SE Asia and did very differently. I'm looking forward to getting to know a different style of travel.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm new to Cs. My partner speaks highly of his experiences and the folks he has met along the way. With a desire to travel more and differently, I am lookiong forward to meeting folks doing just that.
Interests
I am a foodie! Recently becoming plant based has opened my kitchen to another world of adventure from trying out old favs a new way to amazing new favs. And I love beer. With the boom of the craft beer industry, the flavor selections and profiles are a wonderful treat to experiment with. If not in the kitchen, I can be found roaming the wonderful wilds of Tahoe. Fiction junkie - I love to read.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music is a fabulous exploration I enjoy traveling through chill/down tempo, classical, jam bands, just about everything except death metal... Movie favs include Usual Suspects, Breakfast at Tiffanys
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was in Sri Lanka in 2010, I joined the pilgrimage midnight climb to the top of Adam's Peak for the most magical sunrise. The comraderie, the energy, the spirituality, the magic of the dawn will always hold a special place in my heart.
Teach, Learn, Share
I've recently started sprouting. Its a new fun way to grow bits of our food that taste fabulous. On the other side, I am learning to sew and spin poi and am slow at both - teachers & inspiration welcome.
