Young professional living/working in the Pittsburgh area. I grew up in the 'burbs and went to school in the city (Hail to Pitt!), so I'm happy to play tour guide or offer up suggestions on must-sees. I studied abroad in Ireland and am itching to go back, but in the meantime I've been sticking to short, stateside trips.

I love live music – Cage the Elephant + the Black Eyes in Columbus, OH was my all-time favorite show – and have started a small but mighty vinyl collection. I'm a big fan of college sports and hockey, but I'll sit through almost any event with good booze and the right company.

More than anything, I enjoy conversation – if you have something to teach me, a point to (pleasantly) argue or a story to share, I'm the happiest girl in the world.

To meet cool new people! Pittsburgh has a small town/big city feel, and I'm always interested in connecting with/living vicarious through passersby. Unfortunately, I'm not in a position to host at this time.

In no particular order: concerts, bourbon, reading, conversation, college basketball, college football, hockey, current events, art (even though I don't usually understand it), other people's passions.
