About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Cherish everyday, live life to the fullest.
ABOUT ME
For me, it's always interesting to learn about different mentality/personality of people, as well as the social/cultral backgrounds that somehow might have contributed to such diversity.
However, much as I really do enjoy people with stark character, I'd classify myself into the more combined and medial category - I like hanging around with friends, but also appreciate settling down for a discussion over life, politics, books, music, movies, etc. I'm a sporty and outgoing person, but a "book worm" at the same time. I enjoy traveling in the most developed and civilized areas of the world, but also cherished the time of being a volunteer in western China, among the most remote places I know...guess life is too wonderful yet complicated to be described in a few words.
I enjoy meeting and getting to know people, through whom I could look at and understand life from a different angle. And I believe that our life experiences will immerse us in emotions and challenge our convictions, and moreover, shape us into who we each are.
PHILOSOPHY
"Be the change you want to see in this world." - Take heart, take action.
Being WISE is more important than being SMART.
Experience is what you get when you don't get what you want.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Had some fantastic travel experiences through CS, when I was an exchange student in Europe - lots of nice memories with wonderful people to pack along with me as I return to China for my studies. Now it's time to return some favor and joy to the community that has given me so much of both.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Participated in CS meetings in Augsburg, Amsterdam, Beijing..met some nice people and occassionally get together for a coffee/drink.
Couchsurfed in Switzerland, the Netherlands, France, and Poland-really appreciate those wonderful experiences and of course, my very gracious hosts.

Music-小
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
-Raised 4,000RMB in 4 hours for some kids who can't afford books, through selling 500 copies of local newspaper.
-Accidentally wandered into the so-called "drug-street" in Vienna at Mid-night after Silvester Concert at the Golden Hall. Bumped into two locales who were going to a B-party, we ended up crowding onto the floor of an Austria Bank and had some real nice chats over chocolate-chip cookies.
-Sitting on the floor reading a critic book at a Jewish book store in the Jewish Quarter of Krakow, Poland.
-Driving along farm roads to chase the gorgeous sunset in Minnesota, U.S.
