About Me
Hello! I've been a part of the CS community since 2012, but unfortunately I lost my old profile, so here I am starting again 🙃
Pronouns: she/they
I was born and raised in the Bay Area, CA, and started my world travels in 2014. I've backpacked and couchsurfed through Southeast Asia and Europe for months at a time, and have also enjoyed my time in Central America and the Caribbean. Couchsurfing has directed me towards some of the best experiences of my life. I am adventurous and willing to try anything at least twice lol. I'm very open-minded and easygoing. I have a strong sense of justice and fairness and try to live by those values as close as possible. I have a wide range of interests, and I'm always happy to learn something new!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Why not?! 😆 But really, the community and experiences I've had with people through couchsurfing in the past decade and counting are some of my favorite memories of all time. In the past, I have couchsurfed in 9 countries and hosted people at my home from 4 countries. I try to meet up with couchsurfers whenever I travel and cultivate those relationships with other CS's locally. I am excited to continue surfing, hosting, and meeting up for the foreseeable future. I enjoy socializing with fellow travelers and locals, exchanging stories, sharing laughs, and hearing others' perspectives and views on things. I am here to provide a comfortable space for surfers to stay and to connect with locals and friends when I am traveling or at home.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like listening to lots of different music, but I'm probably usually listening to Reggae, RnB, Soul, Funk, Bay Area rap/hip-hop, or Instrumentals. I've recently been listening to more podcasts, mostly for humor or learning.
I like watching documentaries, comedies, indie films, animation, thrillers, and horror movies.
I truly love to read. And I love a good book recommendation! I read about mystery, autobiographies, social justice, poetry, non-fiction, manifestos, short stories, and more.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I could say jumping out of an airplane, or scuba diving in black waters, or motorbiking up the coast of Vietnam, but honestly I think one of the top most amazing things I've done in this lifetime is couchsurfing!
Teach, Learn, Share
I am open to learning about almost any and everything. Right now I am trying to learn Spanish and guitar. I have experience in the food industry, from serving tables at restaurants to growing food on a farm and teaching cooking classes. I particularly enjoy sharing my love of food and cooking with others.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I usually like to share food by cooking and showing some of my favorite local eateries. I am happy to spend some time together, or give privacy if you prefer. I am content with being independent while traveling, but I usually hope to spend at least some time with my hosts, even something small, like having a coffee or going for a walk.
