I work for the largest leisure and entertainment company in Europe, so I like to think personality fits the values of FUN as I love working there! I am very outdoorsy and active and I am always up for a new challenge or adventure.. Last year I swam in a 1500m sea swim race when I am not the most confident sea swimmer - I am always looking for ways to be taken out of my comfort zone and travelling is one way to do this and to meet interesting, new people. I love learning new languages and experiencing different cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Major wanderlust - I am interested in couchsurfing to experience new cultures and to meet interesting people. I am not particularly interested in doing all the "touristy" things when I visit new places, I try and experience the real country as much as possible and I believe coachsurfing will help me to do this. I want to mix with people from different backgrounds and cultures and am excited to meet you all.

Interests

Keeping fit - I enjoy competing and training for triathlons, running races (half marathon has been my longest distance so far!) swimming, cycling, and lifting weights in the gym. I am very curious and enjoy taking creative photos - photos of things that people may not normally take photos of and I like to look up and enjoy architecture.

I also enjoy going to art galleries and museums.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Started running in January 2014 and competed in two triathlons and two half marathons during 2014. I also swam in a competitive sea swim race when being scared of the sea! I am proud of all of these achievements and have many more challenges to check off on my 'to do' list.

I'm applied to study TEFL so I'd be happy to teach English in exchange for other languages! I'm currently learning Spanish but open to learning all languages.
