Overview
About Me
After living in Canada's capital for school, I decided to move back to the small town life - just a quick 22 hours northwest across the province this time. I love keeping active so it's been great to get involved in all the outdoor activities up here!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I started using Couchsurfing when I studied abroad in Europe a while back and I was fortunate enough to have some of the most kind and fun hosts along the way. Exploring a foreign city with locals is the best way to get to know a new place, especially when travelling solo . I understand the need to travel on a budget, and now that I'm back in Canada I've been returning the favour and hosting surfers (and still surfing around Canada myself the odd time!).
Interests
I consider myself an extrovert; I get my energy from being around people, even if I don't know them very well. I have some of the best friends in the world, but I also love meeting new people and learning about their lives; it helps challenge my assumptions and perceived norms. I also love to laugh, if you have a good sense of humour then we'll get along well!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I lean towards the indie/folk or classic rock genres, and I'm partial to our local Canadian musicians!
Books: Always checking out new authors, but East of Eden by John Steinbeck is my favourite classic, Margaret Atwood rocks, and celebrities-turned-authors can be quite hilarious. HAVING FUN ISN'T HARD, WHEN YOU'VE GOT A LIBRARY CARD.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A comfy couch, lot of laughs, and hopefully some great memories to add to your travels.
