I am a friendly, out-going and caring person who loves exploring different cultures and meeting new people. I am spending this year studying Japanese and Japanese culture in Kyushu University, Fukuoka as I am taking my third year of my degree at Leeds University (BSc. Neuroscience) in England studying abroad. So far, I have loved my time in Japan- noticing all the numerous cultural differences and meeting a whole range of people from absolutely everywhere!

In addition to socialising and interacting with different cultures, I love being outside hiking, biking and jogging. I also have a great interest in music, art and and literature. I love travelling because of all the novel things you can see, taste and experience- and of course because of all the people you can meet!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really enjoy meeting new people and hearing their own stories. Couchsurfing looks like the perfect opportunity to do just this, whilst experiencing a new exciting place! I think doing this will enrich my travelling experiences across the world as I can actually meet people who live in the places I am travelling- people are what I think makes a place what it is!
