Overview
About Me
I live and work on houseboat near Canary Wharf with my dog, BearBear. I'm British and American (and Swiss, but that's another story) and a writer and an alternative therapist . I'm endlessly curious about the world and what makes people tick. I love dancing and clubbing (I know many of the gay bars in London), and tend to hang out with people way younger than me. A happy evening involves Prosecco, discussing ideas, and laughing. And maybe dancing too.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Writers need stimulus and good company, as well as time alone. Sharing stories and hearing about other people’s experiences is delightful and inspiring. Every now and then I just want to take off and go somewhere, and be surprised.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
While researching my current novel, I interviewed prostitutes in Amsterdam and young "dancing girls" in Lahore, Pakistan. Which, it turned out, was quite dodgy!
Teach, Learn, Share
I used to teach English...but am more interested now in sharing ideas about life. And food is important too! I happily share my favourite recipes. And I love showing people the basics of how to tap (EFT — Emotional Freedom Techniques).
What I Can Share with Hosts
Funny stories, Swiss chocolates, the meaning of life (seriously, I’ve worked it out in both a 3-word or 4-word version!) Prosecco.
