About Me

Hey lovely souls,
My name is Jennifer, but I prefer to be called Panda or Jenni - choose what feels best for you.
I am 28 years young and currently on a world trip or rather on a big soul/life journey.
I spent the summer of 2023 in Berlin to be closer to my partner, big sister and 1 ½-year-old niece. I really enjoyed the time and being close together was definitely useful to build a lasting bond.
Before that, I lived in Saarbrücken for 5 years. Very close to the French border and 800 km away from my loved ones. I spent the first 1 ½ years there living and working on an organic and social farm, where I was mainly responsible for agriculture. The time in the countryside, in nature or even in the stables (mucking out) was so healing and beautiful - I miss it!
However, in 2020 I decided to complete further studies to become an educator, because working with children and teenagers is equally important to me. I also have another life dream - in addition to my trip around the world. I would like to run a small farm and kindergarten myself one day. Not big at all. Very small and fine. Enough to live on and be happy.
The years before that, I was self-employed and pierced in tattoo studios or at festivals and i also made dreadlocks on the side. The hair business was going so well that I had to make a decision at some point. Because energy and time capacities are limited... So I focused on hair, which gave me flexibility in terms of space and time, allowing me to travel around Germany and Europe for a few months and offer my services.
I turned it into a project. People were able to follow me via a vlog and call me over. then i traveled to them by hitchhiking. I wasn't looking for a financial bonus for myself. I offered my skills in exchange for a place to sleep and something to eat... and I was extremely grateful for a donation for the trip...
I really miss this feeling of freedom and community at the moment. I feel stuck in the social construct, in my bubble and my comfort zone.
That's why I travel relatively atypically. Slow, needs-oriented and dependent on the cooperation of my fellow human beings. I'm currently trying to hitchhike from Bali to Papa Nepal. I don't know the countries, the places and the people. I'm hoping to connect with people and experience the different places and cultures more intensively - far away from mainstream tourism.

So if you are not unwilling to take me with you, then of course I offer you my help in your everyday life and would be glad to be a part of it.

With best wishes, light and love
Panda
