About Me
Hi,
my name is Jenny and I'm 25 years old. I live in Germany and study English and Spanish to become a teacher. Last year I spent in the United States and worked as an au pair for a really nice family. I used my free time to travel as much as possible and that is how I got to know couch surfing. I met so many nice people and saw places from a totally different perspective. Traveling like locals is the best thing you can do! Being back in Germany now, I quite miss my travel time, but from time to time, I take the chance to explore some new places. Also, I like to meet up with friends, go shopping, on a run or on a cool photo mission somewhere. I really enjoy being among other people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because it gives me the opportunity to see different places and get an insight to different cultures. That way it is easy to get to know new people from all over the world. So far, I loved the trips I made with Couchsurfing.
Interests
My interests are definitely traveling and exploring new places. But I also enjoy being active doing all sorts of sport like running or hiking. Sometimes I like to have my downtime with a good book or a nice movie. And I'm quite a coffee junky, without a cup of coffee in the morning, you better not talk to me for too long. :D

Music, Movies, and Books
I am definitely a series junkie :D I love Game of Thrones, but until the new season comes out, I spend my time watching Black Mirror, How to Get Away with Murder, Stranger Things, Gilmore Girls and Orange is the New Black. If you have any suggestions for any good series, let me know. I listen to all sorts of music, but my favorite bands are Mumford & Sons, Bastille and Ed Sheeran and I really love musicals, especially Hamilton! With books, I prefer thrillers with a lot of suspension like Simon Beckett or the Wallander novels.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Decided to live in another country. First I lived 4 months in Peru and then I spent 13 months in the USA.
