About Me

I'm currently not accepting guests as I'm backpacking the world. However, as soon as I get back to San Francisco, I would love to host people from all over the world and share with them my experiences and share the love I received while being a couchsurfer! ❤️

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet locals and make friends! It's not easy being a solo traveler, and the best, most friendly people are usually people from hostels and couchsurfers! At times I can also be shy to approach strangers, so Couchsurf would force me to get out of my comfort zone and meet locals whom I may not meet otherwise.

Interests

I love seeing new places and meeting new people. I am a total foodie, so tasting new cuisine and reminiscing familiar flavors is a must when I travel. I also love to party and seeing the nightlife in a new city!

I also love soccer and skiing!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - EDM all the way - Tiesto, Chainsmokers, Diplo, Dillion Francis, Flume, Cazzette, above and beyond, Jai wolf, etc!

Pop, hip pop, rap, top 40, etc

Movies - pan's labyrinth, titanic, mean girls, x-man series, etc

Books - Dan brown series, you are a badass, lean in, etc

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Backpacking the world 🌎

As a child growing up in China I've always dreamed of seeing the world. I was fortunate enough to move to the US (California baby!!) and experience living somewhere else besides my hometown. However, that did not satiate my love for traveling and as I aged I gravitated more and more towards people who love travel and people with different backgrounds and cultures as me.

Fast forward to 2016 - quit my job, stored all my belongings in a storage, said bye to my friends, and got my one way ticket to Lima! Since I started my journey many things have changed including my itinerary. However, I defied my usual tendency to stick to my plans and went with my heart - since then I've been to places I never thought I would go!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to teach people Chinese, yoga, English, and anything else I can offer!

I consider myself a lifelong learner and I believe that everyone has something I can learn from - whether it's something technical, something practical, interesting facts, or even their lifestyle and the way they smile 😊
