About Me
**I am currently taking time off to travel around Europe hence I am not accepting any guests at the moment**
I am a worker bee enroute to self discovery via my backpacking trip around Europe. Certainly one of the biggest milestones and achievements for me. I realized that traveling broadens my viewpoint of the world, culture and along the way, you meet wonderful people in and out of the couch surfing community and network.
All else aside, I am a goofy person (when warmed up and I do so pretty fast) and I love pasta!
I am part of the Teach For Malaysia program where we design the syllabus and modules to be taught to high school students from the age of 14-17. This is to help boost their English proficiency. At the end of the leadership seminar, the students get to choose a project of their choice and present to the panel judges. The winning school will receive funding to execute the project of their choice. So far, I have organized 2 seminars in 2 consecutive years. In the second year, I was one of the panel judges. The project that moved me was the school that chose cleanliness campaign as their project as their school is by the sea and littering has caused water pollution.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would like to meet YOU! :) 7.3 billion human population and if we meet, I'm sure it's for a good reason!
I'm an introvert by nature. By couch surfing, I get to know my host and the local culture and lifestyle. I would also like to network and get to know more people, experience new adventure as well as share travel stories, anecdotes and lessons learnt.
Spending time with the local host and hearing from them on first hand account of their experience and stories. Or just basically chill and enjoy each other's companion.
So far, I've learnt the following from my hosts:
How to cook a simple vegan breakfast using tofu as substitute to egg - Mirka
The concept of negative income tax to even out the high earners and low earners - Fons
How to insert duvet cover in the quickest and efficient way - Maria
How to find joy and contentment in what we have - Antonia
A dog is truly a (wo)man's best friend - Jonathan and Rameau
Mums are the best - Antonia
Living through the Cold War and lead an inspiring life - Inge
Live like there's no tomorrow - Maria
