About Me
- DISCLAIMER: CURRENTLY UNABLE TO HOST -
Full time on-call healthcare professional, distance undergrad student of International Development.
I live for farmers markets, lazy Sunday brunches, homemade pumpkin pie, librarys, running half and full marathons, Picknis with lots of cheese and wine, afternoons spent in coffee places or bookshops, scuba diving, knitted sweaters, good beer and falling asleep after busy nightshifts, figure skating.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
So far I've expericenced that travelling and living with locals often is an entirely different way of travel than touristic travel, much closer to the actual culture of the place you visit and very often much more intense.
So I am here hoping to get to know many many friendly people from all over the world with different cultural backgrounds, different languages, by hosting and getting hosted.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Very hard to pick only one thing - I wouldn't say there's one single greatest experience, aren't all experiences we make the greatest in their way?!
I guess the singlemost greatest thing was never missing a conversation. With anyone, anywhere. Learning from anyone I meet, the more different the perspectives the better.
Teach, Learn, Share
Oh I love this part! There's so much I have learned from other couchsurfers no matter if it's just an understanding of the super cool jobs some people had, book and film suggestions, travel tips or swearwords in Russian.
I'm a huge language geek - I'm super much into Indian languages: Kannada is my passion, it's such a beautiful language!
What I Can Share with Hosts
A lot of laughter and positivity, I hope.
Because of my job I can tell you all kind of weird stories about childbirth, if you're interested in that.
I can give you a birth preparation crash course.
