My husband and I have built our home from the ground up. We are now in process of trying to sell the property.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Small private house with WIFI!!!
No electricity in small house bring candles or flashlight. Electricity available in big house to charge electronics.
Camping
I have lots of land, fire wood. Outhouse for toilet, river for laundry. Or washing machine 5sol/ kilo. We have dogs, cats. It sits on 4,000sqmeters of land.
From town:
take the combi (local bus) # 2 to the stop in Jinua ( Cruze de Jinua) it is 1 sole and the ride is 25min long more or less. It runs every 10min. 6am to 7pm Then a 20min nice walk along rivers and under trees with great views.
Or
Ucrumaran
The #2 bus comes very close to the house it goes to Ucrumaran the bus going here will have a sticker on the window that says Ucrumaran. The hours it leaves the city are not exact but a more or less. 6:30am and 6:30pm it is 1 sol 50cents per person 5min walk to the house.
Or
Taxi is 15 sol to Ucrumaran if you call we can help give directions
Can only accept guests before dark!
Can only accept guests before dark!!!
Not negotiable!!!!
We live in the beautiful quiet countryside of Huaraz.
Getting things to the house can be difficult for us. We carry up our gas for cooking from the city for example.
We ask that couch surfing respects this idea and brings all your own stuff. This includes, food, toilet paper, feminine products, soap, sugar, oil, toilet paper! etc.
This comes from experience with cs gas and electricity costs have gone up
Thank you for understanding.
We ask for donations if you use resources that cost us $
You are expected to clean what ever space you use, all trash must be carried out. There is no trash collection
We have a 2 year old please be respectful!
