I majored in Eastasian Studies with a focus on Korea. After my studies I wanted to see more of the world and venture out of my usual regions, so I decited to travel North (possibly South later) America for the first time and am in Canada at the moment. I am very intrrestet in discovering new places, meeting intresting people and connecting. I love to hear from people about their experiences, views and learn about diffrent cultures and societies.
Deep discussions, party or just a fun/relaxed time is what I like. And though I am not very sporty, I am always in for a nice hike or outing in the nature!
Personally, I actually like to meet people with different intrests as well, because I find it gives you an insight into something that you haven't though of before or just not really explored. If you are passionate about somehting, I love to hear from you about it and be it refrigerators!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to meet nice people that are intrested in cultural exchange and having a good time. Since everyone signing up here has a profound intrest in traveling or meeting people from different regions then themself I figured that would be a good way to meet intresting people and make my trip that much more fun. :)

Initially I just opened an account here to meet people via hangout, but after making new friends and hearing about their experiences I wanted to try couchsurfing myself! :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a lot of diffrent music styles from all around the wolrd (mostly korean, arabic, balkan, latin), though I prefere upbeat music.

My favourite movies would be Lord of the rings (all), Star Was (all - yes, the new ones as well :P), a lot of Dinsey movies, a lot of Ghibli movies, Gardians of the galaxy. I enjoy a lot more movies though, as well as korean drama. Its just so wonderfully dramatic!

As for books it has to be pride and prejudice & emma, harry potter, lotr, nightrunner series, the Stephanie Plum books series as well as Redwall series and Sherlock Holmes. I really enjoy reading good written books, especially fantasy or historical ones.

I am pretty versed in european and east asian history as well as current affairs (mostly Germany and Korea) and love to talk about it, so if there is an intrest I would love to share! I am also always willing to teach some german. :)
