Hi! I'm a curious, adventure-seeking person who is always up to go for a hike or try a new food (unless there's intestines involved, looking at you kuqarec). I love to slow travel and let the journey take me rather than an itinerary. I find that spending an evening talking with new people about topics they're passionate about is just as fun as going out dancing (not that we couldn't do both).For me life isn't worth living if you can't laugh at yourself or the situations you find yourself in.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I grew up in Knoxville Tennessee but after graduating and working for a few years I joined a volunteer program and moved to Albania. Now that my service is coming to a close I want to use Couch Surfing to meet people from all over and learn something from each one. I feel like my service has helped me to understand and connect with people who have completely different perspectives and I don't want my end of my service to be the end of my meeting these people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jumped on a bus with a girl and guy I'd just met and ended up on the top of a mountain in a hut built by the man who made the wine we were drinking.

I'm in no way an excellent cook but I'd be happy to cook a meal with you and share any tips or tricks I've learned. Essentially I'm always learning and cooking is one of my favorite skills to improve on.
