About Me

I am a recent college graduate from the Washington D.C metropolitan area, living the average post-grad life of trying to figure out my next move.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

At first I found the concept intriguing and wanted to give couchsurfing a try but didn't have much expectation. After the first few amazing CS experiences however, I was hooked and really couldn't think of a better way to meet a complete stranger in a foreign city and leave after they had become your friend! The idea still fascinates me! I would choose to live the life of a local over tourisms and guides any day!

After traveling and couchsurfing across and throughout Europe this summer, I am looking to get more of CS experiences from the other side of the fence!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: The Weeknd, Lana Del Rey, Lorde, Bruno Mars, Muse, and tons and tons more
Movies: Almost every movie except western
Books: The Glass Castle, Wicked series, The Time Traveler's Wife and Harry Potter series (I am a geek, I know)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I swam with cat fishes in the underground lakes of Mexico,
Traveled across Europe to 16 different countries with no luggages, tour guides or companions

Teach, Learn, Share

Anyone who is looking to travel Europe by themselves for the first time, I would be more than glad to give you some pointers. I have mastered the art of packing super light and living out of a medium sized backpack for a good length of time with only the essentials, while still managing to not look like I gave up on life. I have also mastered budgeted eating while traveling and the ability to keep myself full on less than 8 euros per day! (although it largely depends on how picky of an eater you are, plus somewhat on the city you are in) If you are a poor college student like me and are or will be traveling on a budget, I can definitely share my experiences with you :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Portugal, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, Turks and Caicos Islands, United Kingdom, United States, Vatican City State

Countries I’ve Lived In

Japan, South Korea, United States
