About Me

I have the travel bug! I was born and raised in Indonesia and as a child and teenager, traveled a lot with my family. Now as a teacher, I have a lot of breaks during the year and love to explore and discover places I have never seen. I want to discover where my ancestors came from as well. I have a special interest in France since I am working at a French International School in Vancouver and am learning French. When traveling I want to immerse myself in everything special about each place, the food, wine, arts/culture, history, architecture, stories of the city, and people who lived there . I have traveled to Europe the last two summers and want to keep exploring there! My passions are music, doing anything outdoors, and food/drink. :) I really enjoy meeting new people and finding connections.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have stayed in many auberge de jeunesse and also airbnb and now, I would like a change, especially to meet locals and get their tips of their city.
