I love travelling, learning about various cultures and nature- above all. I am a free spirit who loves to explore. I am a healthy eater. You will most likely find me going to someplace new or doing something interesting on days off. I love the ocean and spending as much time with her as possible. If you want to know details about me, just ask! I have wwoofed a few times while living in New Zealand for a year and in Hawai'i as well. I wwoofed on a small, organic family farm and also at a vineyard. I have also couchsurfed while out and about exploring the world too. I am a quick learner. I love to learn! And I especially love to be in nature; to respect and honor Mother Earth in the various ways I can! It's important to know I am reliable and an open communicator. My friends describe me as compassionate, unique and fun. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to rejoin because I don't want to pay outrageous prices to capitalistic, greedy people with no sense of community- just to sleep somewhere for the night. I would much rather spend time and money in a local community giving back to my fellow kind and community-oriented humans and sharing resources!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Classics in the book department as English lit is one of my geeky things. I also enjoy Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estes' anthropological story work too :-) Movies? I love pretty much all genres except for horror but my absolute favorites are historical dramas, comedies and documentaries. Music? Same. I love it all except heavy metal and gangster rap. That's it. You will find everything from Tribe Called Quest to Frank Sinatra in my Itunes library. I am, however, most excited about indie rock and ambient"ish" (Cat Power, Odesza are who I have been jamming to a lot recently) indie folk (I am a huge fan of Lord Huron and Appleseed Cast) and soul/r&b (Otis Redding is one of my favorite artists).
