About Me
Hello you!
I'm Jennifer, a 23 years old French girl currently living in Paris... well, the Paris suburbs but still next to Paris!
I am a smiling and cheerful person. I love meeting new people and knowing about their cultures and traditions (of course, if not I wouldn't be here ;)).
I recently made my first big trip alone and that was such a great and unforgettable experience that I won't stop there. Travelling is certainly the best way ever of living and EveryWhere is now on my list ! Life has so much to offer us and there are so many countries and people to discover all around the world !
I would enjoy meeting you and being part of each other's adventure , so let's get to know each other!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet amazing people of all origins and discover countries by sharing moments with locals ! :D
I think meeting and spending time with locals is the best way to fully enjoy a trip. It's also better to discover a country or city and all its sides than I would do by my own. That's why I'm here ! Not to find a free place to stay but to share and create unforgettable memories ~
Interests
Among all my interests, pastry is my first one, I can spend hours cooking pastries! I'm also passionate about Asian culture and more especially South Korea and Japan. That's why my dream is to live few years in Japan and then open my own pastry shop in South Korea. I'm on my way to make this dream come true !

Music, Movies, and Books
Music :
NF
Twenty One Pilots
Chainsmokers
Monsta X
Ah... actually I listen to a lot of different music depending on my mood. From hip-hop/ R'n'B, getting by rap music to even K-pop or J-pop. But I must admit that I have a preference for dynamic music.
Movies :
It's all about Marvel Movies!!! Yes I know I know, nothing extraordinary.. but to be honest, I can enjoy watching any kind of movies if the story interest me. Well any except horror movies ^^'
Books :
I'm not really a great reader... But maybe you can change my mind telling me about your favorite books ;)
Well, there is actually a book I'm reading... a pocket book but a book anyway! The title book ? "Au Japon ceux qui s'aiment ne se disent pas je t'aime" ("In japan those who love each other don't say I love you"). This book is only an overview of Japanese culture and its differences with French culture but it's a rather nice and friendly first introduction to Japan ^^
I love poems too and there was a time when I read a lot of them. I was recently introduced to Haiku, a very short form of Japanese poetry that somehow captures the present moment in what is singular and ephemeral about it, like a painting of the "here and now" ~
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Definitely when I came all over Japan on May 2019! That was my first big solo trip and that was just an amazing challenge and experience ! I met wonderful people in such a wonderful country!!
As said, it was my first time travelling all alone abroad and it actually was just the beginning !!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you some French of course ;)
We can also bake some pastries together and then share it !
What I Can Share with Hosts
Let's share our cultures and travelling experiences, maybe around a drink or dinner, or even while visiting if I'm free.
