Hello my name is Jen! I am on couchsurfing because I am a lover of traveling and meeting new people. I first joined couchsurfing while I was on a cross country road trip across the United States with a few of my best friends. Couchsurfing not only allowed us to elongate our travels but to also meet some of the most generous and interesting people around! I am not sure what my future holds with where I might establish roots but once I do I am looking forward to returning the incredible generosity that I have been shown through hosting others!

I am a nature lover and explorer; I have lived by the ocean my whole life so I am a huge lover of the beach and swimming, I enjoy seeing live music and going to arts exhibitions/museums, I love exploring eco-friendly/organic restaurants and hip/unique bars and clubs, I am very passionate about yoga and mindfulness and enjoy going to yoga classes/mindfulness events, I am a huge animal lover and am eagerly looking to do some type of work with them. I like a lot of things and am curious to learn about new things which is another reason why couchsurfing is so wonderful!

This changes day to day but I love classic rock, indie, electronic music. Some of my favorite artists are Alt-J and Led Zeppelin. I love to read; My favorite series that I most recently read was the Harry Potter series.

I traveled to Cape Town, South Africa for three months where I interned at an organization called Rape Crisis. Cape Town is such an incredibly beautiful place with amazing mountains and beaches. I was able to live and enjoy Cape Town with people from all over the world!

I went to school for Expressive Arts Therapy and Holistic Psychology, I am Reiki certified, I have visited some interesting places and have interesting stories to share! I also love learning new things so it would be a beautiful exchange!
