Hello surfers / hosts!
My name is Jennifer Rubinshteyn. I'm a college student in New York City, where I was born and raised. I'm currently majoring in Communication Studies (Public Advocacy / Rhetoric) and Philosophy with a minor in Political Science. I am a hoop dance performer / instructor. I am fluent in English and Russian, with a bit of knowledge in Spanish :)

I'm going to be traveling in Tel Aviv from June 8 - June 21 and am looking for a place to stay!

PS: Unfortunately I cannot accept guests because I live at home with my family in a tiny apartment :(

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm looking to create experiences with my hosts and expand my mind through travel. Who better to help me open my eyes wider than those who are rooted and / or planted in the places I am visiting! Lets make memories and connections :)

Interests

I'm very interested in preserving the earth on which we live as well as its inhabitants :) By this I only mean that I love and wish to help change, for the better, the world as a whole. In what ways I am so far unsure... but I hope to join, work with, and potentially launch organizations in the future. I am also a Hula Hoop dance performance artist / instructor with great interest in active meditation and flow arts! I love music, movement, and gatherings that involve both. I love food (who doesn't...).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Experienced the sunrise at Haleakala Crater on Maui from the very top at over 10,000 feet high! Absolutely breathtaking.

We've all got plenty to learn from one another! I can tell you that you'll learn to hoop with me around, which may be true... but I think we'll learn way more through our time together :)
