I support traveling, romping, exploring—especially when it's done solo(a) and on a budget. I've had a lot of people help me out along the way, and I'm game for helping others.

I'm interested in books, new cultures, running, dance, new recipes, baked goods, coffee, education, poetry, philosophy....

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: salsa, bachata, singer songwriter.

Movies: documentaries when I'm curious, artsy/indie when I need inspiration, and a shameless romantic drama every now and then.

Books: I'm open to reading anything new (except maybe YA and genre). For short stories, I enjoy Alice Munro. For novels, Edwidge Danticat is my favorite. For poetry, Anis Mojgani at the moment.

I love to teach/practice Spanish. I have lots of background teaching all language levels to all types of learners.
