ABOUT ME

Hi!

I backpacked Europe in May 2014 and I now have the travel bug! I grew up in the countryside in Michigan. I moved out to LA 5 years ago to pursue my dream of acting. My favorite hobbies are hiking, swordfighting, going to the beach, working out and seeing new places, whether it's a bar down the street, a city down the road, or a country overseas. I love the outdoors, I am very much a country/nature person but I am also very much a city person.

Go on adventures and drink good wine. :)
Just do what makes you happy! I believe in a stress free life and doing things spontaneously.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am on couchsurfing mostly to meet new people. Knowing someone in town can make the difference between travelling as a tourist vs. as local. It makes a huge difference if I know someone in the place I'm visiting. Even if I'm not staying/surfing with them, they are great to meet up with to show me around, tell me the right places to go and to learn about the culture. It is always more fun if I know someone wherever I may be going.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I only couchsurfed once, in Manchester, England. It was probably the most fun of the whole trip because I truly felt like a local. I walked the neighbors dog, ate at the local bakery and was able to really experience the lifestyle. Having a great host really makes all the difference! I also met up with someone in Amsterdam that my friend had been talking to and although we didn't stay with him, he was able to meet up with us and help us with internet/currency issues and get us all sorted out. Extremely nice of him!

Music: Everything! Lately I'm obsessed with Reggae. I also like Indie, Hip Hop, Country, Rock, Frank Sinatra, Elvis, Latin, Cuban, anything electronic and everything in between!

Books: I have to say nothing has ever compared to Harry Potter! Occasionally I enjoy philosophy books and biographies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Set my entire body on fire (safely of course) for stunt work.
