Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I caught the travel bug when I was 13 years old and went to Wales with a student exchange program. Since then, I dream of new places to visit, sights to see, people to meet and adventures to be had.
I backpacked 15 countries in Europe in the mid 90's and stayed at youth hostels. It was an amazing experience where every night I would meet fellow travelers from other countries. I am still friends with several people that I met during that excursion. If CS would have been around then, I would have loved it! It has the potential to create even more personal relationships and gives the opportunity to learn even more about the area. I also lived and traveled aboard a sailboat from 2000 until 2003, starting in CA, sailing around Mexico, El Salvador, Costa Rica and ending in Panama. From 2015-2017 I lived in South Korea and was blessed to travel to 18 other countries from there. I am currently living in Okinawa.
