Hi I am Jennifer but commonly known as Jen by my friends. I spent my youth in Zimbabwe and later in Australia. Now retired my main interest concerns yoga and I carry out a daily practice in this discipline. I am a keen gardener and traveler and have traveled to many different countries as a young and mature adult. I have two sons one of whom now lives in Fremantle Australia. I am an outdoors type person but also appreciate good radio and am very interested to learn about or update my knowledge on other countries and cultures. I love meeting and getting to know other travelers.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I thought surf couching would be a great and affordable way to meet new people and also provide a platform for me to visit my son in Australia.

Spent one month as a volunteer at Kufunda in Zimbabwe (2012). Kufunda is a socially responsible community learning enterprise.
