Overview
About Me
Hi my name’s Jennifer! One of my favorite things in this life are the endless opportunities to meet strangers, share deep meaningful conversations and then feel so connected that it seems impossible that you’ve only just met.
Part of my life’s work and passion is to build community by creating physical spaces to facilitate connections through various modalities- primarily yoga, movement and music. Attending and/or hosting events with good food, music, and people around interesting discussion topics or workshops is my idea of the best time.
I like to listen and learn. If you are deeply immersed in a particular field of study and love to share ideas, beliefs and knowledge, I’d love to meet you.
I’m a nature loving, tree hugging, sleeping bag outside under the stars kind of girl. I’m all in for active adventures, like climbing, hiking, dancing. In my more yin state, I like to create art, sing, paint, wire wrap, read.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on couchsurfing for a few reasons- the one that’s most relevant to me is to connect with as many people as possible, learn, and expand my mind & my heart. Couchsurfers, in my opinion, have certain qualities and traits that brings them into the Couchsurfing community in the first place, like: openness, grand sense of adventure, friendliness and rich in knowledge of the world.
It’s one of my joys and purpose in life to continue to meet and learn from these people :)

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite books are ones on raising consciousness, dreams, psychology, philosophy, self development, ecology and spirituality.
I love ambiguous music, meaning when I listen to a song, I like not being able to immediately identify what genre it is because it has a unique blend of many; sounds that are intricately layered upon each other. I love listening to the details of a extremely well produced song and trying to find the hidden gems.
Musical stylings from the likes of: Rufus du Sol, Bon Iver, Glass Animals
Genres: Medicine music, blues, jazz, indie rock, low-fi
I enjoy movies that plant seeds of enlightenment that expands my mind and provides unique perspectives on obscure subjects.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I figured out the secret on how to let go of all my vices that I had been a slave to for many years including: cigarettes, coffee, alcohol and drugs.
I went to a burning man pants making party in SF that one of the co founders of Couchsurfing hosted and that's when I learned what Couchsurfing was.
