ABOUT ME

I work as a Program Leader for a company called Remote Year, travelling with a group of 30 remote workers. I want to see as much of the world as possible. I prefer living in a place rather than traveling through it. I'm addicted to change. The day I get too old to get on a plane will be the worst day of my life. I want to be a teacher, primarily because I love kids, and second because the travel opportunities are endless. If I could have any pet in the world, it would be Yoshi. I think the demise of 90s cartoons and console games is one of the world's greatest tragedies.

PHILOSOPHY

When I do something, I do it well. I don't mean this in a perfectionist sort of way at all. I mean getting right in there, living life as a local. Making mistakes. Learning. Making the same mistakes again. Remembering. Things get bad so we can appreciate the good. I hold onto things that make me happy, and try to change those that don't.

I came across this site by accident and it was like a gift from above. CS embodies everything I love about people and this earth.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed in a Chinese lady's apartment, which I found through a similar website based in China. Then I found Couchsurfing, and now I'm looking forward to the endless opportunities and adventures to come. I've hosted in China and Sydney, and surfed in Thailand.
