About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To figure out what my current mission is. It's ever-changing really.
ABOUT ME
Hi, how are you? You'd think in this day and age, I'd know how to sum myself up on the internet. It's never really been my strong point. I prefer meeting people and letting the conversation naturally take it's course. But I shall attempt to offer some details. I'm vegetarian, and while that is important to me I have recently felt open to being flexible if it felt important to an experience while abroad. I absolutely love to hear interesting stories, I like to share some as well. I very much enjoy reading and writing, though the time I've devoted to either is a bit limited. As much as I dislike driving, hopping in my car with an unknown destination is something I often do. I was born in a car. I'm self-aware enough to tell you my faults, ideas, and opinions, though not enough to tell you simple facts that you'd think I know. I'm as nuanced as the next person, and find myself to be a mixed bag of contradictions. I like to explore realms outside of my comfort zone and find that traveling and connecting with people to be avenues that help me do that.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have mostly hosted surfers, and have surfed a couple of times with some great folks. I truly love CS and have made some lifelong connections through it.
Interests
Things that really grab my attention: The complex beauty of people and nature, unity among a community, supreme acts of kindness, self-empowerment. I'm interested in many, many things. I've also recently concluded that my most spoken adjective is "interesting". A few interests I can think of: languages, travel, walking, reading, engaging conversation, architecture, beauty, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most amazing things I've seen and was a part of would have to be May 1st in New York City. To be united with over 100,000 people marching through the streets of Manhattan was something that had a many feelings and thoughts attached to it, a few would be; unbelievable, beautiful, overwhelming, inspiring.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I hope we can share time with each other in a fun, deep, easy-going way. I don't have many teachable skills but I do think I can be a positive addition to a community-- always happy to cook, make you laugh, generally go with the flow.
