Overview
About Me
I'm Jennifer from Hong Kong.
I'm a university student who hopes to exert her own time-limited freedom before entering the labour after graduation via playing truant SOMETIMES and exploring the world.
A not-really-young adult trying to meet people of different cultures, understand more about the world, and finally knowing what she is.

- Overseas nursing placement in local hospital. Observe and hands-on patients with African epidemics e.g. malaria, HIV-infections
- Safari, hopefully can witness the Great Migration myself
JULY -- Middle East (Destinations yet to be confirmed)
- Turkey: Istanbul, Cappadocia
- Iran: Tehran, Isfahran, Shiraz, Isfahan
- Israel
- Jordan
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's not just about the place, but it's about the people.
Most of my knowledge about differnet places in the world comes from the TV progammes like "Rick Steves' Europe",,"Jeremy Clarkson meets the Neighbours"(this one doesn't sound good, does it?lol)
As a traveller who could only afford trips on a shoestring, travelling in Europe has been one of the things that appears on my list of things-I-must-do-before-I-die. I long to know the impression of a country I was instilled with by these programmes, is it just a cliche or really the truth. I hope the trip would not just be sheer taking photos of some beautiful tourist attraction sites but geniuinely know the temperament of each place, and of course, meet friends and share my own culture.

Teach, Learn, Share
I'm not sure I have any thing outstanding or skillful enough that I could teach others...
I think I can share things about my beloved city -- Hong Kong & things about last year's Umbrella Revolution & how we Hong Kongers view about China.
And cooking Chinese food with the hosts, making dumplings.
- To Learn -
The most impressive travelling experience I had would be in Nepal talking to a sadhu who share the wise words of how they love their lives.
I hope to learn how people from different parts of the world interpret happiness.
